But the interesting part of the day...

...came when Marie and I were offered snake for lunch. A man had a live viper (poisonous snake) in a bag which he showed and offered us for lunch. He had not killed it yet because its better fresh... of course it is. We kindly declined and everyone laughed at how I reacted at even attempting to see the snake, let alone hearing that someone had one outside the house (I detest snakes).

But the reason I will never forget this day is because today is the day that my brother Kyle, sisinlaw Lori, and nephew Aidan, met the new addition to their family... Little Keagan. They are in China right now and they not only met but picked up Keagan today. They are ALL scheduled to get home on Thanksgiving day. Kyle reported that they are all doing well and the boys are having a ball getting to know one another... and Keagan is holding his own.
